5 Signs Your Toddler Is Ready for Little Tigers

    July 14, 2026 3 min read

There's no perfect age — but there are clear signs a toddler is ready to thrive in a structured class. If a few of these sound like your child, Little Tigers will very likely be a hit.

    1. They have energy to burn

If your toddler is bouncing off the walls at home, a structured, movement-based class is a much better outlet than another hour of screen time.

    2. They can follow a simple two-step direction

'Go to the mat and take off your shoes.' If your child can follow instructions like that most of the time, they're ready for class-style learning.

    3. They can separate from you for short stretches

Preschool drop-off is a good proxy. If your child can be away from you for 30 minutes without falling apart, they're in good shape for class.

    4. They love to imitate

Martial arts is mostly 'watch the coach, do what the coach does.' If your child copies you, older siblings, or characters from shows — great sign.

    5. They light up around other kids

Little Tigers is social by design. Kids who enjoy being around other kids tend to fall in love with class fast.
