Tournament Day Tips for Parents & Students

    Plan for a Full Day

Most local tournaments run 6–10 hours. Arrive early, bring chairs, water, and snacks for downtime between divisions.

    Fuel Smart

Eat a balanced meal 2–3 hours before competing — complex carbs and lean protein. Avoid heavy or sugary foods.

    Pack the Night Before

Clean dobok, belt, mouthguard, headgear, chest protector, shin & forearm guards, and hand & foot pads.

    Focus on Effort

Win or lose, every tournament is a chance to grow. Celebrate the effort, the lessons, and the courage to step on the mat.
